1.Background Information

The Shatin to Central Link (SCL), which consists of Phase 1 - East West Line (EWL) and Phase 2 - North South Line (NSL), is a strategic railway line that runs through multiple districts in Hong Kong to strengthen the current railway networks by connecting several existing lines through a number of interchange stations. The 11-km EWL extends the Ma On Shan Line from Tai Wai Station to Hung Hom where it will connect to the West Rail Line to form an East-West rail corridor. The NSL is a 6-km extension of the East Rail Line from Hung Hom Station across the harbour to Admiralty Station, forming the North-South rail corridor.
　
There will be 7 new stations (Hin Keng, Diamond Hill, Kai Tak, To Kwa Wan, Ma Tau Wai, Ho Man Tin and Hung Hom) on the EWL, with 10km tunnel and 1km viaduct sections.

The scope of works comprises the design, manufacture, supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning and rectification of defects during the Defects Liability Period for 10 trains in consists of 7 cars and the associated equipment necessary to facilitate operation and maintenance of the trains.

好似出現過三份新車合約，分別係SCL Phase 1, Phase 2同埋New Train Cars
但係而家New Train Cars個份contract都離奇失蹤左
唔通龜龜覺得日本果邊唔會再肯整IKK Trains => 冇得加卡，所以就直接收番份合約，新車都要買7卡？ 如果係嘅話，MOL堆車係邊度買卡嚟加卡？唔通靜係行4卡咩~
