During Type Approval/IVA, the boot lit is supposed to be at its CLOSED position.
Since the boot lit is not supposed to be opened when a vehicle is moving.
If TD said its ok to have the number plate at some awkward position, then let it be, the law/TD allows it to be there
like this:
this is perfectly legal in HK as well (don't sue me for not posing HK photo, Alfas in HK shows their plate this way as well)
I've wasted so much time explaining the above is simply because THE LAW SAID SO and the police doesn't want to prosecute violators endlessly, which may cause problem at times.
If the IVA/type approval record says the plate is in a certain place, then it MUST be at its designated position
Police not charging a certain violation doesn't meant it's legal, or all right to do so
and I have to mention this again, if the gov't knows the plate will place awkwardly on a car and is complying the law,
WHICH IS NOT THE CASE FOR THE CROWN COMFORT, nor after market modsit's perfectly legal and the police can't stop you because you plate is not in the center, the end

情況同comfort完全一樣, 而差人係絕對樂意去叫佢地驗車
重申一次, 尾牌算係抄牌嚴打項目之一
否則單車友唔會整多塊尾牌備用, 九記都唔駛同AVW補鑊, 甚至修改BW/BWU車尾設計
comfort嘅例子絕對係一個不予鼓勵嘅特事特辦, 但唔代表佢咁做係合法
