Shots of the Enviro 350H hybrid demo bus with a CB80 body as part of the NSW Government bus trial a few years ago. Sadly no order was placed for these and the demo was eventually sent to South Australia.

Sadly I never got to ride it but managed to see it at the Bus and Coach Show 2011.

For some reason, Australia companies doesn't seem to like ADL. It's such a pity since ADL buses are pretty good. Especially their double deckers. (In terms of design, not on building quality...) Plus, STA keeps getting useless, unpractically and poorly build bustech body work Scania. Really hope they could get more CB80 or Volgren Optimus. (They've got 7 Iveco Volgren in Randwick. That's all they have...)

I seem to recall STA did trial an ADL Enviro 200 a while back for routes better made for short buses to run on but sadly it only stayed as a trial. In the end they just ordered a shorter version of the Bustech VST.

Yeah, they decided to pay Bustech extra to redesign a short version instead of having something decent. The Enviro 200 is good, don't know why they are not getting them. Perhaps because the bus can't lift up? Don't know. (The photo is crappy since I take it with an iPad... Sorry~)
