雖然只是開蓬與硬頂的分別, 但開篷版絕對是採用另一套模具. 車身結構與硬頂一樣紮實, 車門亦沒有鬆散的感覺. 雖然上手是愛車之人, 但油漆始終敵不過歲月的摧殘, 引擎蓋及尾箱門已明顯起疹, 左車門亦開始有起疹現象, 而左前輪後方的儲物箱門發現兩點起泡. 相反, 鍍鉻部件不但沒有氧化, 更仍然帶有光澤, 仿鋼線輪圈依然美觀. 兩側儲物箱上方的 2000GT 貼紙稍嫌略細, 而且欠缺立體感. 引擎和內裝基本上與之前介紹過既新版硬頂是一模一樣, Coupe 在這兩方面已是滿分之作, 所以即使這部 Cabriolet 是舊版, 在這兩個範疇上造工亦有一定的保證.
