Volvo Olympic still can be found in some cities especially in the Northern England.
Bradford is one of those cities which still operate school bus service by Volvo Olympic.
This time I have paid a visit to the Bradford First bus depot and luckily I have captured most of the fleet in Bradford area.

Well, it is called Olympian instead of Olympic
If you say "Leyland Olympic", then you are referring to a mid-engined single decker manufactured between 1949-1971.

Anyway, talking of Volvo Olympians, they are quite rare in London.
Popular choice of double decker to hire (often school service) -- Volvo Olympian with Northern Counties Palatine I body:



I think Palatine I is the worst looking body fitted on an Olympian. Palatine II looks much better (this photo is taken in South East Bus Festival in Kent):

However, Volvo Olympians on rail replacement services are quite different:
"Ordinary" Alexander R-Type:

And even rarer East Lancashire Pyoneer:

p.s. For many years, I thought the full name of the coachbuilder NC is "Northern Countries". In fact, it is "Northern Counties"

i know what you have this impression because the rims looks b7tl style more than olympian. but from the design of the engine cab you can tell it is an olympian
